I cannot sign into Jane Nation, what should I do?
Please try these tips first:
- Make sure that you are signing in with the sign in name that you chose (it should be a name or username and not your email address)
- Remember that passwords are case-sensitive (check to make sure your Caps Lock is not on)
- If you forgot your sign in name, go back to your "Jane Nation - Your Account is Enabled" email which will contain your sign in name
I forgot or lost my password. How can I get back into my Jane Nation account?
Please use the following steps to recover your account:
1. Click this link to view the "Recover Password" page: Recover Password
2. Once you land on the Recover Password page, please provide the email address that you provided at the time you created the Jane Nation account.
3. The website will then send you an email message with further instructions to help you recover your password.

What is a Blog?
A blog is an online journal of your personal thoughts, experinces, insights, etc.. Blogs can include video, images, links and any other media or information you would like to share.
What and how do I comment on a Blog?
Jane Nation is all about sharing thoughts, ideas, advice and stories. We hope these blog posts evoke emotion, spark a memory, iritate you, make you smile, inspire you, etc…so keep a conversation going today and add a comment by writing in the "comments" field.
How do I post a new question or topic to a Sisterhood?
Simple. Within a Sisterhood, click on the "discussions" link. From there, click on the "write a new post" link.
How do I change or update my Email address?
1. Make sure you are signed in
2. Click the "My Jane" Tab
3. Click the "Edit Your Profile" tab
4. Click the "Site Options" tab
5. Scroll down until you see the "Email Configuration" header
6. Change your private email address to the email you wish to use to receive emails from Jane Nation
7. Click the "Save" button
How can I make my profile information private?
1. Make sure you are signed in
2. Click the "My Jane" Tab
3. Click the "Edit Your Profile" tab
3. Click the "Privacy Options" tab
4. Choose the options you wish to keep private-no one can view this information, Members only-only signed in members can view your information, or public-everyone can view this information
5. Click the "Save" button
Can I add a signature to my Jane Nation profile?
Yes! Here are the steps to do so:
1. Make sure you are signed in
2. Click the "My Jane" Tab
3. Click the "Edit Your Profile" tab
4. Click the "Site Options" tab
5. Scroll down until you see the "Signature" header
6. Include the information or media you would like add on to every post you make within Jane Nation
7. Click the "Save" button
How do I invite another member of Jane Nation to be my friend?
The more friends the merrier. First you will need to find the Jane (member) that you wish to befriend. There's three ways to find Janes:
1. Click on the main tab "Jane Network". Then select one of the parameter fields under "Find New Friends" and click the “Submit” button.
2. Within a blog post, click on the author of the blog. This will take you to their profile page.
3. Within a Sisterhood, click on "Janes" in the right hand column. Then click on one of the "Members" you would like to add.
Once you have found the Jane you are looking to befriend, then click on the "Add to Friends" link under their picture/avatar.
